From its elevated position, the house enjoys views across the olive groves to the sea below and feels pleasantly secluded. It’s a stone's throw from the gorgeous pebble beach at Kerasia. There’s a great taverna here, specialising in traditional local dishes, and there is a little wooden jetty in front, right on the beach, that guests have access to.
The furnishings, created by renowned interior designer Tino Zervudachi, are modern and clean-lined. There’s an airy, open-plan dining and sitting room with two pairs of doors opening to the terrace and a fitted kitchen at one end. The three bedrooms all have double beds, made up with crisp white bed linen, and en-suite modern shower rooms. Two have sea views, and the third looks out over the garden. The master suite also has a dressing room and private balcony.
Steps lead down to a terrace built into the hillside and framed by olive trees. It has an outside lounge and cushioned sun beds. There are also places to sit and escape the midday sun, such as a newly installed plunge pool and a barbecue area.
The charming fishing village of San Stephano is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive. E-bikes can also be hired for quicker access without a car. The village has a few tavernas, shops, teenage-friendly bars and boat hire. For a greater choice of eateries and shops, you can drive to Kassiopi in 20 minutes. Cosmopolitan Corfu Town is just under an hour’s drive. Explore the charming UNESCO-registered old town with Venetian architecture, narrow streets, and a wealth of shops and restaurants.
